Yazoo’s debut single Only You was also their highest charting single, reaching number 2 in in 1982.
It also went on to reach number 1 (a UK Christmas number 1 no less!) in 1983 when sung by The Flying Pickets!
Alison Moyet went on to solo success and Vince Clarke (formerly of Depeche Mode) went on to have great success with Erasure.
