I’m not sure if this is New Romantic or not, but OMD’s Enola Gay was one of the first Electronic songs of the 80s (pioneered in the late 70s by one of my favourite artists ever, Gary Numan).
The song is about the dropping of the first atomic bomb on Japan by the plane Enola Gay – just in case you wondered!
