I Won’t Let You Down was Ph.D’s only top 10 hit. The letters P, H and D were from their founders, with (the sadly departed very recently in 2015) Jim Diamond being the D.
Jim went on to have a huge number 1 hit by himself in 1984 with I Should Have Known Better.
